Two people have been arrested after the body of a man was found inside a property in Sheffield.
Emergency services made the discovery in Ironside Walk, Gleadless, at 13:30 GMT on Friday after being called to reports of an assault.
South Yorkshire Police said the man's death was being treated as unexplained.
A man, 39, and a woman, 37, were arrested on suspicion of assault and remain in police custody at this time, the force spokesperson said.
South Yorkshire Police had made a self-referral to the Independent Office of Police Conduct in relation to the incident, the spokesperson added.
