Storm Isha brought widespread disruption to the region on Sunday and Monday

Storm Jocelyn will bring more wild weather to Yorkshire, the Met Office has warned, just a day after Storm Isha battered communities.

A yellow weather warning for wind is in place for the region from 12:00 GMT on Tuesday until 15:00 on Wednesday.

Four flood warnings have been issued for North Yorkshire, with the Met Office warning of possible disruption to travel due to strong gusts.

Jocelyn is the 10th named storm to hit the UK since September.

Steve Willington, Met Office chief meteorologist, said: "Although this system will be a step down relative to Storm Isha, with the damage and clean up still under way, we could potentially see more impacts from Storm Jocelyn."

The Met Office said winds would gradually ease through Wednesday, with temperatures expected to remain mild or close to average for the time of year.

National Rail advised train users to check their journeys before travel.

"Cancellations and delays can be expected today and on Wednesday, with some routes being closed," a spokesperson said.
