A driver has been jailed for nine years after admitting killing a young woman in a crash in Doncaster.
Molly Mycroft, 21, of Ivanhoe Road, drove her Seat Ibiza through a red light on Wheatley Hall Road and crashed into another car on 2 August 2022.
Sarah Oliver, 20, died after the crash while two other people were injured.
Mycroft was sentenced at Sheffield Crown Court on Friday after admitting causing death by dangerous driving and seriously injuring two others.
Footage from a CCTV camera showed the crash, in which Mycroft drove above the 40mph speed limit through a red light, striking the side of a turning car and killing Ms Oliver.
Paying tribute to Ms Oliver, her family said: "She was a beautiful young woman who had her whole life ahead of her.
"She died six days before her 21st birthday and while we should have been planning celebrations, we were instead planning a funeral; her life and our lives were taken away from us by selfish actions."
Sgt John Taylor, from South Yorkshire Police, said it was a "tragic case" with Mycroft showing "no regards for the safety of others".
"We know Mycroft was using her mobile phone whilst driving and that she was speeding at the time of the collision. I urge people to consider the consequences of these actions," he said.
Mycroft was sentenced to nine years in prison for causing death by dangerous driving. She was also sentenced to four years in prison for causing injuries in the crash with the sentences running concurrently.
"No length of sentence can bring back our Sarah," Ms Oliver's family added.
