'Reckless' teen jailed after 110mph Doncaster police chase

A man who led police on a "reckless" 110mph (177km/h) joyride in a stolen car has been jailed for 21 months.
Lee Cherowbrier, 19, sped through villages in Doncaster in the early hours of 6 February, as he was being chased by police.
Cherowbrier, who was disqualified from driving, only stopped when he crashed into a traffic light.
"He is fortunate no one was seriously hurt," PC Ellen Hoszowski, of South Yorkshire Police, said.
A passenger threw items out of the car towards pursuing officers, with Cherowbrier, of no fixed abode, trying to ram a police car before crashing.
A police officer told Cherowbrier: "You could have killed somebody. What is wrong with you?".
'Incredibly reckless'
Lee Cherowbrier pleaded guilty to theft of a motor vehicle, dangerous driving and burglary, after he stole the Lexus from a property in Kirk Sandall.
At hearings in February and March, he also admitted failing to provide a specimen for analysis and driving without insurance and driving while disqualified.
Cherowbrier's behaviour that night was described by PC Hoszowski, the officer in charge of the case, as "incredibly reckless".
"He showed absolutely no regard for pedestrians, other road users or our pursuing officers with the passenger in the car launching items at our police vehicle," PC Hoszowski added.
"This kind of driving and speeding is completely unacceptable and I am glad Cherowbrier has been locked up."
At Sheffield Crown Court on Tuesday 9 April, Cherowbrier was told he would serve his sentence in a young offenders' institution.
