Stafford Hospital's new chief wants to improve morale

Improving morale at Stafford Hospital is a top priority, according to new chief executive Lyn Hill-Tout.

Ms Hill-Tout, who starts the job in June, says she needs to find ways to motivate staff.

She also asks for "critical friends" - people who will give the hospital constructive feedback about its treatment.

A public inquiry in Stafford is looking into a higher-than-expected number of deaths at the hospital between 2005 and 2008.
