Hundreds of people have lined streets to pay tribute to one of the victims of the terror attack in Tunisia.

Sue Davey and her partner Scott Chalkley were among 30 Britons to die in the mass shooting on a beach in Sousse last month.

The pair, who worked for Severn Trent Water, met in 2013.

Speaking at a memorial service at St Editha's Church in Tamworth, Ms Davey's son Conor Fulford described her as a "very special person".

"There's a gaping hole in my chest. Rest easy and we will never forget you," he said.

Mr Fulford said his last memories of his mother were of her "grinning ear-to-ear" looking forward to the holiday in Tunisia.

He said the most upsetting thing was that her two grandchildren would grow up without knowing her properly.

The Reverend Alan Gordon, who led the service at St Editha's, said: "We shouldn't be here today. Sue was a vibrant, lively and inspirational woman and so much more.

"We are united by the common bond of our humanity. And that has been the atmosphere of Tamworth over the last few weeks."

Hundreds of people watched as a horse-drawn hearse carried her coffin to the church, with many of them waiting outside during the service.

Afterwards, one of Ms Davey's favourite songs, Photograph by Ed Sheeran, was played on a PA system.
