A man, 31, was arrested on suspicion of murder following the death in Stafford

A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of another man in Stafford.

Officers were called to concerns for the welfare of a man in Oberton Gardens at about 21:15 GMT on Tuesday, Staffordshire Police said.

The victim was confirmed dead at the scene, they added.

An investigation has been launched and the suspect, a 31-year-old, remained in custody while anyone with information was urged to contact detectives.
