Police name cyclist in fatal crash in Suffolk

A cyclist who died after he was hit by a vehicle in a Suffolk village has been named by police.
Philip Scarff, 37, from the Stowmarket area, was struck by a Nissan Navara in Old London Road, Copdock, at 1700 BST on Friday.
The driver of the Nissan, a 31-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
He was released on police bail until 1 October. Suffolk Police appealed for witnesses to contact them.
