Appeal one year on from club shooting in Ipswich

Detectives investigating a shooting in an Ipswich club have made an appeal for witnesses to come forward almost one year on.

A man was wounded and four others hurt during the incident at the Caribbean Club on Woodbridge Road, Ipswich, in the early hours of 19 December 2009.

More than 300 people were in the club at a private function at the time.

Det Ch Insp David Cutler, of Suffolk Police, urged people to get in touch with any information.

"The investigation remains open and it is possible that what they saw or heard is important and may be the missing piece of information that we are looking for," he said.
