Suffolk Day marked with parade in Ipswich

A town centre parade and a proclamation by the mayor have marked the seventh annual Suffolk Day.

Events are being held across the county as part of an annual celebration of all it has to offer.

It included a march by 4 Army Air Corps through Ipswich and a speech on the Town Hall steps.

It was read by Mayor of Ipswich, Lynne Mortimer, who said it was a day for people from Suffolk to feel proud.
