Police officer injured in 'fail to stop' collision in Newmarket

Police investigating a "fail-to-stop" road collision in which an officer was injured have made an arrest.
The female police officer was injured in the incident on The Avenue, Newmarket, at about 02:45 GMT on Sunday 12 November.
Her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing, but she has been kept in hospital for treatment, Suffolk Police said.
A 22-year-old man was arrested on Monday and held in Bury St Edmunds.
Police say he was held on suspicion of dangerous driving and failing to stop at the scene of a collision. He has since been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
Officers would like to hear from any witnesses to the collision, and have appealed for motorists in the area to review their vehicle dashcams.
