Bury St Edmunds care home resident's painting becomes online hit

A 98-year-old care home resident has become an internet star after a video of her painting went viral.

Lillian Currell, from Marham House in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, was filmed making a Christmas decoration using only a glass and teaspoons.

It had nearly seven million views on Facebook after 10 days and thousands of positive comments.

She said: "It is a miracle. I'm completely overwhelmed. If it's given a lot of people pleasure then we've achieved something."
