Gloucestershire man brings 'laughs and giggles' to care home
A Gloucestershire man, who helps out at a care home, has said he is "so moved" after being named as volunteer of the year.
David Hardy, who is partially-sighted, said he aims to bring "laughs and giggles" to everyone at the care home in Cheltenham.
He has been recognised as Volunteer of the Year at this year's Gloucestershire Care Providers Association awards event. The awards celebrate the very best who work in the independent care sector.
