A man with a knife made staff at a Conservative Club hand over large amounts of cash, police said.

Officers were called to a property in Clapgate Lane, Ipswich, at 10.55 GMT, to reports of an armed robbery.

Suffolk Police said a man, who was dressed in black and wore a face covering, threatened workers with a blade and then left with the money.

A force spokesperson appealed for witnesses and dashcam footage from the area.
