The 34-year-old from Wenlock Mews in London was sentenced to 10 years in jail.
Investigating officer Det Con Stephanie Rose said: "I would like to pay tribute to the victim's bravery."
In April 2020, Ramzan raped a woman in her 40s in Bury St Edmunds. During the incident, he stole about £200 and damaged her mobile phone.
Following police inquiries, Ramzan was arrested on the 18 April 2020 and charged with the offences.
Det Con Rose, from Bury St Edmunds Safeguarding team, said: "This was an extremely traumatic experience for the victim and one that she would have had to re-visit in the court room due to Ramzan's not guilty plea, an experience which would have only added to her trauma."
