Ipswich Town's minute's applause for cancer patient Ben Moore

A minute's applause will be held at a Championship football match in tribute to a "proper" football fan who died from cancer.
Ben Moore, 22, who held a season ticket at Ipswich Town FC since he was 10, died on Thursday.
A minute's applause for Ben was due to be held in the 22nd minute of Town's home fixture with QPR on Friday night.
Blues forward Conor Chaplin wrote on X that Ben's "enthusiasm and knowledge of the club was incredible", external.
He spent time during his final weeks with the players at the Playford Road training ground.
Chaplin wrote: "Such sad news. A proper fan who was so invested in the club and everything about it.
"Had the pleasure of spending time together, his enthusiasm and knowledge of the club was incredible to see and speak about."
Last November, Ben had a haemorrhage and was admitted into intensive care where he was diagnosed with leukaemia.
He had intensive treatment throughout the year including a bone marrow transplant, which was unsuccessful.
Mike Moore, Ben's dad, said: "I introduced Ben to his first home game against Norwich in 2006.
"Two years later I got him a season ticket and he did not miss a game until this season because of his illness.
"Ipswich was his life. He was totally passionate about the club and a walking encyclopaedia on everything ITFC."
Despite his condition, Ben achieved qualifications including a level three in sports studies and FA coaching badges
The club's X profile also posted a tribute, external: "The thoughts of everyone at the club are with the family and friends of Ben Moore."
Ipswich Town's local rivals Norwich City also wrote: "Very sad to read this news. We send our thoughts to Ben's family and all who knew him."
