Surrey Police front counter services move to council offices

Police front counter services and a safer neighbourhood team have moved from a police station in Surrey to nearby council offices.

The services, which were previously housed at Esher Police Station, are now based in Elmbridge Borough Council's civic centre, in the town.

Surrey Police said the move would save money and be more convenient.

The county's police authority accepted a bid for the sale of Esher Police Station at a meeting in May.
