Plans to redevelop a town centre in Surrey have moved a step closer after a developer was chosen.
Work on Addlestone town centre could begin in early 2014, according to Runnymede Borough Council.
It said construction in Station Road will take place over two phases and include new shops, flats, a park and a "vibrant" pedestrian street.
The council has appointed Bouygues Development as the preferred bidder for the redevelopment.
