Twitter feed for Sussex Police helicopter
- Published
People who see the Sussex Police helicopter can now check what the force is doing on Twitter.
The crew are "tweeting" a report on their call-out every time they return to the hangar in Shoreham, West Sussex.
The Twitter feed replaces a website that used to give details of the aircraft's activities.
Insp Simon Pettett said: "When people see the helicopter, they want to know what we're doing."
He said the force was keeping up with changes in how people accessed information.
People can use the Twitter feed to follow the helicopter's movements and also tweet officers, view photos and send feedback.
