Brighton flat murder charge pair remanded

A man and woman have appeared in court charged with the murder of a man found beaten to death at his Brighton flat.

The body of 48-year-old Jonathan Ellison was found at his home in Gloucester Street on Friday.

David Sole, 32, of no fixed address, and Denise Antonia, 33, of Appledore Road, Brighton, were arrested in Winchester, Hampshire on Saturday.

Brighton magistrates remanded them in custody on Wednesday to appear at Lewes Crown Court on 26 April.
