Amputee marine Joe Townsend completes Race Across America

A Royal Marine who lost both his legs in Afghanistan has completed one of the world's toughest cycle races.

Joe Townsend, of Polegate, East Sussex, was part of an eight-man team of wounded ex-soldiers who competed in the 3,051 mile Race Across America.
