Eastbourne's Meads district has 'highest average age'

A district of an East Sussex town is the first place in the country to have a population with an average age of more than 70.
The Meads district of Eastbourne has the oldest average age in England and Wales, the Office for National Statistics (ONS) said.
The average age in the district is 71.1 years compared to the national average of 39.7 years.
A district in Christchurch in Dorset has the second highest average at 69.8.
