Beachy Head rocks walkers rescued by lifeboat

Four walkers had to be rescued by lifeboat after becoming trapped at the foot of cliffs in East Sussex by the rising tide.
The group set out from Birling Gap on Monday to walk along the beach to Holywell at Eastbourne but were cut off just east of Beachy Head lighthouse.
Dover Coastguard was alerted by the crew of a passing yacht who spotted them trying to climb rocks to escape.
Eastbourne lifeboat rescued the walkers and returned them to Birling Gap.
