Janet Muller was reported missing the day before she was found dead

The funeral of a student whose body was found in the boot of a burning car is to take place in Germany.

Janet Muller, 21, was found in Ifield, near Crawley, West Sussex, on 13 March - a day after she was reported missing from Mill View Hospital in Hove.

Sussex Police said their "thoughts and sympathy" were with her family ahead of the service in Berlin on Friday.

Christopher Jeffrey-Shaw, 26, of Lakeside, Beckenham, south London, is charged with murder.

The body of the 21-year-old, who was a University of Brighton student, was discovered in a Volkswagen Jetta.

Sussex Police said they were still keen to find out more about Ms Muller's last movements.
