West Sussex disability day service wins last-minute reprieve

A charity which organises sport and leisure activities for people with learning disabilities has been saved from closure.

Out There! in Crawley lost its county council funding but a grant from another body will allow it to continue for a year.

West Sussex County Council said it was having to direct funds where the need was greatest, and will continue to work with local groups to develop activities.
