Bishop Auckland murder inquiry: Four people charged

Four people have been charged with murder after a man was found stabbed outside a house, police said.

The 41-year-old victim was found dead by emergency services at West Lane, Bishop Auckland, at about 18:00 GMT on 29 November.

Three men, aged 52, 44, and 42, and a 42-year-old woman have been charged with murder.

They have been remanded in custody and are due to appear at Newton Aycliffe Magistrates' Court.

Durham Police said a 16-year-old boy had also been arrested in connection with the death and was in custody.
