Gemma Finnigan death: Daniel Johnson charged with murder

A man has been charged with the murder of a woman whose body was found at a house on South Tyneside.
Gemma Finnigan, 24, was found at the property in Church View, Boldon, on Friday morning.
Detectives are awaiting the results of a post-mortem examination to determine an exact cause of death.
Daniel Johnson, 32, of Church View, Boldon, appeared before magistrates on Monday charged with Miss Finnigan's murder.
He was remanded in custody to appear before Newcastle Crown Court on Wednesday.
