A manhunt is under way to find the robbers
A manhunt is under way after armed robbers wielding crowbars targeted a bank, police said.
The three men, also armed with a wooden stick, struck at the TSB on Blackhills Road in Horden, County Durham, at about 10:45 BST.
Two female members of staff suffered minor injuries as did two female members of the public.
A car which police say is thought to be linked to the robbery was found burnt out nearby.
It was discovered in the Cotsford Park Estate area about 1km (0.6 miles) away.
Special response teams and a police helicopter are searching for the robbers.
