Waste and recycling roadshow touring Wiltshire

  • Published

A roadshow is touring around Wiltshire this week to give homeowners advice on changes to their waste collections.

Officers from Wiltshire Council will be answering questions on new services being introduced.

They include a fortnightly collection of plastic bottles and cardboard from October.

People in north and south Wiltshire will soon have general waste collected once a fortnight, a plan which has happened elsewhere in the country.

Also from 2012, a new garden waste collection service will be available to everyone who signs up for the scheme.

Wiltshire council has put details of the roadshows on its website, external.
