Disorder broke out after Swindon's 7-4 defeat to non-league team Aldershot Town

Three people have been arrested following disorder after Aldershot Town's FA Cup victory over Swindon Town.

They were arrested for criminal damage of a vehicle, assault of a steward and for throwing an item onto the pitch, following the match in Swindon on 4 November.

Violence also broke out at the County Ground Hotel after the game which saw Swindon beaten 7-4 by the non-league side.

Wiltshire Police say no injuries were reported, but enquiries are ongoing.

In a video shared on X, formerly known as Twitter, football fans were seen shouting and physically fighting one another at the hotel. It was viewed by more than 1m people.

A spokesperson from Wiltshire Police said: "Officers deployed as part of the wider football event were quickly on the scene and were able to separate the groups involved.

"There were no reported injuries at the time but an investigation is ongoing.

"Three separate but football related arrests were made throughout the afternoon."
