Man arrested after missing teen, 14, from Wiltshire is found

Locals gathered to search for the missing teenager on Sunday

A man has been arrested on suspicion of child abduction after a teenager went missing on Friday.

The 14-year-old was seen on Sherston High Street, near Malmesbury, getting into a dark estate car.

An appeal was made on Sunday by the girl's mother for her daughter to get in touch. Dozens of locals also searched for her.

She was found at a property outside of Wiltshire, police said. "She is now safely in police care," they added.

The arrested man, aged in his 20s, is being questioned.
