Swindon collision leaves woman with serious leg injuries

Wiltshire Police has asked witnesses to get in touch

A woman has been left with potentially serious leg injuries after a "hit and run" incident.

The collision happened on Whiteman Street in Swindon at around 17:30 GMT on Sunday evening.

The driver of a silver BMW hit the pedestrian as they turned into an nearby alleyway.

Wiltshire Police said the driver reversed back onto Whiteman Street and drove away. They have made an appeal for any witnesses to come forward.
