Firearms and ammunition were handed in to police after being found in a garden
A man has been charged with firearm possession after a weapon and ammunition were found in a garden.
Ryan Molloy, of Edington Close in Swindon, was remanded in custody after being arrested.
Wiltshire Police said his arrest followed an incident on 18 September when a member of the public found a bag containing the firearm and bullets and handed them in to the police.
Molloy, 20, will appear at Swindon Crown Court on 8 March for a trial.
He appeared at Swindon Magistrates' Court earlier.
