M4 delays after vehicle crashes off motorway

Delays were reported on the westbound side of the M4 in Wiltshire by National Highways
Delays of up to half an hour were expected on the M4 in Wiltshire after a vehicle crashed off the side of the motorway.
The westbound carriageway was initially closed between junction 16 and junction 17, near Chippenham, on Wednesday.
Two lanes reopened but there were up to three miles of congestion on the motorway at about 07:40 GMT, National Highways said.
Lane one of three would remain closed while the vehicle was recovered.
