A coach hit the central reservation on the M4 on Friday morning

All lanes on the M4 have reopened after a coach hit the central reservation.

There were long delays after the crash on Friday morning, which left the westbound carriageway blocked for about 40 minutes due to debris in the road, and to allow the coach to be recovered.

One lane remained shut westbound on the motorway from J16 A3102 Swindon Road to J17 A350 Chippenham, but it has now reopened.

Wiltshire Police said there were not thought to be serious injuries.
