Mr Gration received his MBE in a ceremony at Buckingham Palace

BBC Look North presenter Harry Gration has received an MBE from the Prince of Wales.

Mr Gration, 63, from York, was granted the honour in the 2013 Queen's Birthday Honours list for services to broadcasting.

Mr Gration presented Look North from 1984 to 1994 and returned to the programme after a brief break in 1999.

The broadcaster said the ceremony at Buckingham Palace had been "emotional".
