Body pulled from River Foss in Ethan Peters search

Police searching for a missing student have recovered a man's body from the River Foss in York.

Ethan Peters, 20, who was living in the Hull Road area of the city, was on a night out when he was last seen on Coney Street on 2 October.

North Yorkshire Police said the body was found behind the Castle Museum at 13:30 BST by underwater search teams.

Formal identification has not taken place but the force said Mr Peter's family had been informed.
