Whitby amputee set to help others after alcohol battle

A 62-year-old man is travelling the length of the UK unassisted in a wheelchair.

Bash Wright almost lost his life to alcoholism and in 2019 spent three months in a coma. Both of his legs had to be amputated.

The Whitby man, dubbed The Green Mile Man, is challenging himself to raise disability awareness as well as money for charity.
