Missing York girl found safe and well, police say

North Yorkshire Police had issued an appeal for help to locate the missing 15-year-old

A 15-year-old girl who had been missing since Friday has been found safe and well, police have said.

North Yorkshire Police said the girl from York was believed to have travelled by train to the Huddersfield area.

The force said she was located earlier by officers from West Yorkshire Police.

The force thanked the public for their assistance and for sharing the appeal, and said the girl had been located in the Shipley area.
