Bus passenger dies after being struck by vehicle near Harrogate

A man who was seriously injured when he was hit by a car near Harrogate has died, police said.
The victim had just left a bus on the A61 near Knox Mill Lane, at about 17:50 GMT on Monday, when he was hit by a Ford Fiesta.
The man in his 90s was taken to hospital, but has since died North Yorkshire Police said.
Officers said the man's family were being supported and renewed an appeal for information or dashcam footage.
A spokesperson for the force said the incident happened between Harrogate and Killinghall at the junction with Knox Mill Lane .
The Ford Fiesta was travelling northbound on the A61 in the direction of Killinghall, they added.
The driver is helping officers with their investigation.
