Harrogate burglary appeal after thieves target wedding jewellery
- Published
Gold jewellery which has sentimental value to its owners was stolen in a burglary in Harrogate, police said.
The jewellery, which was bought for the owners' wedding and for their baby, was taken from a house in the Woodlands Walk area earlier this month.
North Yorkshire Police said thieves broke in some time in the week beginning 18 December, leaving the owners "devastated".
The force has released images of some of the items taken from the house.
Anyone with information is urged to contact them.
A spokesman said: "This has had a significant impact on the victims and we are appealing to anybody who may have recently seen or bought items in the photographs.
"We are also appealing to anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity in the area during this time to come forward and provide details which may prove essential in the investigation of this incident."
