Ex-North Yorkshire PC to stand trial accused of sexual assault

Former North Yorkshire police officer Lee Meadows pleaded not guilty to a sexual assault charge on Thursday
A former North Yorkshire Police officer is set to stand trial accused of sexual assault.
Lee Meadows, 44, appeared at Bradford Crown Court on Thursday and pleaded not guilty to the charge.
Mr Meadows, who lives in Doncaster, was employed as a police constable when the assault against a woman was alleged to have happened on 25 September 2020.
A trial date has been set for 2 June 2025 and Mr Meadows was granted conditional bail.
He has left the force since the alleged incident.
