Michaela McAreavey case: Police ask court for more time to investigate

Police in Mauritius have asked for more time to investigate a case involving a former security guard at the hotel where Michaela McAreavey was murdered.
The 27-year-old from County Tyrone was killed in her honeymoon suite at the Legends hotel in January 2011.
Dassen Naraynen, also 27, appeared in court on Friday accused of conspiracy to commit larceny, which he denies.
During the hearing, police asked for more time to search for evidence and complete their investigation.
Mr Naraynen was originally charged with murder but this was later dropped.
He has denied any involvement in Mrs McAreavey's death.
Last month, two hotel workers were acquitted of her murder.
Detectives in Mauritius started a new investigation the day after the trial ended.
