A Chinese energy company has bought seven wind farm projects in Northern Ireland and a further seven in the Republic of Ireland for a reported 350m euros (£300m).
The China General Nuclear Power Group (CGN) has taken control of the projects from Dublin-based Gaelectric.
The deal consists of 10 operating wind farms.
A further four will be operational by mid-2017.
Dr Wei Lu, chief executive of CGN Europe Energy, said this was the group's first acquisition in the energy sector in Ireland.
