South Belfast fly-tipping is 'breeding ground for vermin'
Fly-tipping and dumping in south Belfast is creating a breeding ground for vermin and rats, a councillor has said.
SDLP Cllr Gary McKeown said the situation in the Holylands, lower Lisburn Road and Stranmillis areas had become horrendous for residents and council staff.
Belfast City Council said it had increased inspections and it was aware of what it described as recurring issues.
