South Belfast fertility clinic pair released on bail

Two people arrested by detectives conducting an investigation into a fertility clinic in the Lisburn Road area of Belfast have been released on bail.

A man and woman, both in their 40s, were arrested on Monday on suspicion of offences including money laundering and breaches of the Medicines Act.

The pair were also being questioned about fraud-related matters.

Police say they have been released to allow for further enquiries.
