Belfast: Attempted murder arrest after two men are stabbed

A 36-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after two men were stabbed in a flat in Belfast city centre, police have said.

One victim was stabbed in the face and the other received stab wounds to his abdomen during the attack in Bradbury Place on Thursday afternoon.

Paramedics and police were called to the scene at about 13:10 BST and the two injured men were taken to hospital.

Police said two dogs in the property were also injured during the incident.

One of the dogs is being treated by a vet.

The arrested man remains in police custody after being detained on suspicion of attempted murder and criminal damage.
