Colleen McMurray: Man arrested over 1992 murder of RUC officer

A man has been arrested in connection with the murder of a RUC officer in 1992.
Colleen McMurray, who was 34, was killed in an IRA mortar attack in Newry in County Down.
Another RUC officer lost his legs in the attack.
A 59-year-old man was arrested under the Terrorism Act at Birmingham Airport on Wednesday and is to be taken to Northern Ireland for questioning.
Police said the man was arrested by the Police Service of Northern Ireland's legacy investigation branch with the help from counter terrorism policing West Midlands.
Mrs McMurray was the passenger in a police car which was hit by a mortar bomb as it travelled along Merchants Quay in Newry.
Her colleague survived but lost both his legs.
No one has ever been convicted of Constable McMurray's murder.
