Belfast: Men charged to court after £500k drug seizure

The drugs were seized by police in south Belfast on Friday

Police have charged two men after seizing drugs they estimated have a street value in excess of £500,000.

The drugs were found after police stopped and searched two cars in south Belfast at about 15:00 GMT on Friday.

The men, aged 23 and 43, are accused of offences including possession of Class B drugs and possession of Class B drugs with intent to supply.

They are also charged with being concerned in the supply of a Class B drug.

Both men are expected to appear before Belfast Magistrates' Court on Monday.
