Pension strikes: Portillo, Stuart and Rosen on action

Author and former Children's Laureate Michael Rosen claimed the government may not have fully read Lord Hutton's report on pensions and said there was "massive wealth in this country" with better-paid people already looked after.

Andrew Neil hosted a debate with Michael Portillo - who claimed Britain was falling down the international scale of wealth - and Gisela Stuart MP who said people needed to work longer and would have to accept career-average pensions.

It followed the airing of Mr Rosen's film on Thursday's day of action by civil servants and teachers.
